The World at Large

The descending sun spooks me, As it reminds me of impending doom. The fate of the world hanging on  the joker wearing the crown. A game of deceit and endless conspiracies, Rigged to make the hidden emerge strong. ‘Come one come all’ The sign bellows. Not one peasant decided to enjoy the menu. Listen, I want you to tell yourself that it's going to be ok.no matter how scary it seems right now. everything will soon change. and you need to too. i want you to understand that even the worst scars heal with time. don't deny yourself the oppurtunity of a fresh start by holding on for too long. you need to learn to let go. you need to understand that even after the darkest of nights, the sun will soon shine its light. until then you will always have those twinkling stars that adorn the night sky guiding you throughout the dark.fall in love with them and tell yourself you are never alone. and you need to repeat that to yourself everytime the sunsets. and i promise you when you rise again, it will be the most beautiful crack of dawn mankind has ever witnessed yet. but until then, learn to chase your monsters away. learn to fight back, learn to stand up for yourself. it's all a part of the process of rising again. i want you to really believe that better days are coming. and i want you to trust the process.
